Even though it’s in a very touristic spot right in the middle of the city center, this place remains one of the best for enjoying authentic Brussels-style mussels. The quality and flavor are outstanding, and the atmosphere is lively without feeling overwhelming. The service is friendly and efficient, and you really get that classic Belgian dining experience. Definitely don’t miss it if you’re in Antwerp — it’s a must-try! ????????

We had the best Belgian Food there! Both dishes were absolutely magnificent. The service was okay but could be improved. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Belgian cuisine in the heart of Antwerp

Good bitterballen and wings for starters. Very good mussels, good, simple pasta with spinach and parmesan. Good aperol spritz and beer. Service was very pleasant. Cosy atmosphere inside. November 2025 update: as good as before.

The venue has lots of outside seating with heaters and inside has a few table if you prefer to be in a smoke free environment. The service was very good, the food arrived quickly and was very hot and looked great. Everyone enjoyed their meals as well as the free bread, each meal came with salad and potatoes (fries, mashed or croquettes) so there was plenty of food.

Food was good. Esoecially the flemish stew. Vol au vent too, but mostly of the filling was outside of the bun. Quite salty though unfortunately. I tasted lasagne of one of the others, nice and juicy. Slow service... foos took a very long time. Escargots were ok too. But pieces of shell. Nice and warm there though.

The venison goulash was amazing. We didn’t really enjoy the mussels - there were a lot of empty shells. The dessert selection was quite limited. One detail to note: it was very cold inside, as the place isn’t heated. That definitely takes away from the coziness and makes it hard to warm up on a chilly evening.
